Natural Fat Burners – A Thorough Discussion

The irony of this world (in terms of weight related issues) is that when we didn’t have much knowledge, the average waist size was average (less) and when we have advanced in various fields, the average person’s weight and waist size have gone up. This can be due to various factors like:

  • The natural content (raw) in our diets earlier was more
  • Now days, hybrid technology in food stuffs has left us with wanting more in terms of what our body requires
  • Our lifestyle has changed tremendously

With so much importance being given to the metro sexuality concept now, we are more conscience about how we look. Weight is a major factor here. Many people will try all kinds of methods to get in shape, but would keep away from natural methods.

Before we talk about natural food stuffs that help us to burn fat, we need to clear some misconceptions. How many of you think that there are some foods which don’t provide any calories? Many!! In reality, every food type comes with a set of calories. Weight gain or loss is an index which depends on food intake and exercise. Hence, apart from taking a balance diet, ‘controlled weight’ will come only when the excess fat is burnt.

There are some food stuffs which act as natural fat burners, while there are many food stuffs which get converted into fat fast. 2 important words in the prior sentence are ‘some’ and ‘many’. Natural fat burners are actually those food products which when taken, will not only help us burn fat and but also assist in controlling the accumulation of fats.

Products which have high vitamin C content help us to burn fats. Vitamin C helps us to dilute the fats in our body, and indirectly helps us to flush out a major portion of fats. Fruits which contain Pectin also help in regulating the fats from being absorbed. It also promotes absorption of watery substances and release of the deposits of fats. Apples are common fruits which contain Pectin.

Commonly found fruits which contain vitamin C are Lime and Lemon. Apart from this, other fruits and vegetables which contain vitamin C include Oranges, Watermelon, Broccoli, Grapefruit, Apple, Cabbage, Celery and Carrot. In addition, it is recommended to eat these fruits and vegetables raw, wherever possible.

Foods which contain fiber are also considered as indirect natural fat burners. Fiber based foods help to breakdown the fat, revitalize the body and work towards getting a higher metabolic rate. Oatmeal, skimmed milk and whole grain cereal are common examples of such food stuffs.

Foods which contain capsaicin help to increase the metabolism rate by helping the body to produce more stress hormones. Peppers and some spices contain capsaicin. Soy, garlic juice, garlic oil, green team jalapenos and low fat yogurt also help in a way to get rid of fats.

Lastly, water also helps in fighting fats, as it flushes out the undesired toxins.
